Digital Hub (數碼之源) for Wind Orchestra / Concert Band

Digital Hub draws inspiration from Sham Shui Po, Kowloon—Hong Kong’s renowned center for computer products and electronics, rivaling Tokyo’s Akihabara and Taipei’s Guang Hua Market. The district’s Ap Liu Street and the annual Hong Kong Computer Festival underscore its tech legacy. Originally composed for Chinese orchestra, the piece was commissioned by the Hong Kong Festival Wind Orchestra for the Singapore International Band Festival 2010, and has since been performed in Germany, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou.
